Jointing Sand Stabiliser

Seal Groundjoint is an easy to apply, water based sealant and weed preventative for use on block paving, which also stops your jointing sand from being washed away. Apply quickly and easily using a watering can to stabilise joints and prevent future weed growth. 

Unit Size and Coverage Rates
One 5ltr can is sufficient to treat up to 25sqm of paving (200 x 100 x 50mm blocks with a 2mm joint); that is as little as £2.00 per sqm.

1. For newly paved areas, remove any loose debris and ensure paving is clean and dry.

2. Using a watering can with a rose attachment, pour Seal & Stop over the paving, allowing the product to soak in for around 10-15 seconds before removing any surplus using a squeegee or roller.

3. Allow to dry for 5 hours before applying a second coat (if required) and 24 hours before walking over the treated area.

4. Should you be treating an existing area of paving, it is important to clean the area thoroughly using a pressure washer.

5. With block paved areas a minimum of 20mm of jointing sand should be removed/replaced during cleaning to ensure Seal & Stop is effective.

6. Once the area has been cleaned and re-sanded, you are ready to proceed with the standard application as indicated above.
