Concrete Resurfacing Screed

Top Floor Repair is an extremely versatile levelling mortar which can be DIY applied internal or external to resfurace rough or damaged concrete, curing to an extremely tough surface finish. Top Floor Repair is a high strength concrete resurfacing screed suitable for heavily trafficked areas and is ready to receive foot traffic after 2-3 hours, followed by warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, after only 36 hours.

The product’s formulation is free from protein and ammonia, creating a very low odour material and is shrinkage compensated and polymer modified. Top Floor Repair can mixed using a drill & paddle or using pump for fast, largscale applications. 

Unit Size & Coverage Rates 

One 25kg tub of concrete resurfacing screed able to cover approx. 3m2 @ 5mm thickness.

Applying concrete resurfacing screed:

1. Prepare the surface and apply Uniprime acrylic primer (diluted to 5 parts water) to seal porous substrates and allow to cure overnight. Apply a second coat of Uniprime and allow to go touch dry before application of the concrete resurfacing screed.

2. Add the prescribed amount of clean water to Duratop and mix thoroughly using a drill / paddle.

3. Apply between 3-15mm thickness for one layer within the 30 minute working time. ;

4. Allow the screed to self level and use a spiked roller to de-aerate the applied screed.;

5. Ready in 2-3 hours for foot traffic and 36hrs for wheeled traffic.
